Tidal Software has announced a development agreement with SAP AG to integrate the Tidal Intelligent Automation Platform with the SAP Solution Manager application lifecycle management solution. This integration is intended to reduce meantime-to-resolution (MTTR) of issues that impact business. It will also help reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) for customers running the SAP NetWeaver technology platform and SAP Business Suite software.

The integration will enable Tidal's Intelligent Automation to proactively receive alerts triggered by SAP Solution Manager and provide automatic resolution. Through this integration, customers can speed up the adoption and benefits of the Run SAP methodology, which can lower TCO and improve operational efficiency.
In these challenging economic times, companies are looking to be more effective and efficient in their IT operations. Under this development agreement, SAP and Tidal Software are joining forces to provide customers with the technology to support optimizing staff and the processes they deliver to further enable world-class SAP operational excellence. The integrated solution is scheduled to be available at the end of 2009 and will be individually priced by Tidal Software.
